Anna and Emily consider the tricky question of BIPOC actors playing characters with typically "white" names. Is it liberating? Or is it whitewashing? They also manage to thumb in some chat on banana bread and baby farts.

Arnold Shwarzenegger gets his first Still Legit outing with the 90’s sci-fi-fest, Total Recall, and the girls talk turning into bushes, sex bunnies and Wayne Lineker's shopping list as they try to determine whether Arnie's Still Legit.
Apologies again for the patchy sound- it was a less than ideal set up and we did what we had to do!

We take a break from normal programming for an extended "Yalright" check in with the new mum - and the first podcast recorded face to face since the pilot episode! Baby Robin keeps us company while we discuss secondary sexual features, baby foals vs. baby humans, and God's scrambled eggs, plus how Emily convinced her boobs she had twins. We'll be back to regular programming next week!
NB: For our eagle eared listeners (do eagles have ears? anyway) - this was recorded without our usual set up so please forgive the less than perfect audio!

The brilliant comedian Evelyn Mok joins Anna and Emily to discuss Rush Hour, a heartwarming tale of two friends being racist to each other. Is that Still Legit? We chat colonial white guy baddies, camel hump and inexplicably fancy cars, and Anna and Evelyn realise that bleaching their hair has set them on the path to being evil sidekicks.
There has been a threefold increase in racism towards East Asian people since the coronavirus pandemic began.
